Shouldn't open another instance of the same file if already open
This is a minor grievance I have with the UI (I'm on MacOS.)
When I already have file opened in nteract and then open the same file again (usually by mistake) it opens another instance of the file in another window without warning. This has caused problems for me because I have two windows of the same file with different states.
It would be great if instead it could either warn me of what I'm doing or just send me to the window where the file is already open.
Definitely agree.
Thinking on how we'd want to solve this, I feel like setting up a custom scheme nteract:// for loading would help this and that we could direct to the right window at that point. This does mean we'd need to notify when the file name changes due to save as. 🤔
