Hi! Probably a corruption of one of the system files. I suggest you re-download your iso, or ensure its integrity and then recreate tiny11. Be sure to use the version on the main page, not release. If you still have errors please send us the log file.

@js1m, I took a look in your log and thats not good you have an error when execution dism operation. I think your install.wim was not complet (your output iso size file is way to small). Try to recreate the iso too.

For anyone landing here, here’s what I did before I got a working install.

  1. Upgraded from Windows 10 to Windows 11

    • I checked C:\WINDOWS\Logs\DISM\dism.log and saw several DISM warnings.

    • One of the first was about a missing SiloedPackageProvider.dll.

    • After some googling, I took a guess and upgraded to Windows 11.

  2. Ran the tiny11 script with extra parameters suggested in this thread:

    powershell -f C:\path\to\tiny11maker.ps1 -ISO X -SCRATCH Y

Without this, the process would sometimes stop during export, and it felt like I had to wake it up by pressing Enter, but it's hard to say what was actually happening, so take this with a grain of salt.

  3. Outcome

    • Windows 11 installed successfully from the ISO created by tiny11.
  4. Notes

    • The image has no browser, so either download one via command line or keep an installer on a USB stick.

    • No issues so far.
