Inconsistent Favicons

Describe the bug Fav icons don't always appear, or appear very inconsistently (see screenshot below)

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior: Happens to most of my feeds, but Digg appears to be the worst.

  1. Go to digg.com
  2. Subscribe
  3. Visit several Digg links, reload a few times (some combination of the two)
  4. Obser

Expected behavior Consistent favicons appear for each link.

Firefox assigns the favicons, we can't change them.

favicon appears when a feed is read, sometimes not , i noticed it's when a feed is atom or not

What I've observed is that the wrong favicon are used on different sites. It shuffles and deals them like at a poker table :)

Isn't there a way to fix this? I've noticed that when an RSS feed gets the news feed and it contains new elements in it, the news get shifted downwards but the favicons do not shift. But when I restart my browser it's actually fixed again, until of course the feed has new elements in it again. Maybe there's a way to clear the list and add the elements again which could fix the problem?

Completely deleting and recreating the list might actually fix this problem, however we can't really do that. The current "shuffling" is required to not overload Firefox Sync: #41.
