Would be nice to finish removing the Ruby dependency from the builds.

Just one more option: there's pretzel that's close to Jekyll and "should be compatible with basic Jekyll websites." https://github.com/Code52/pretzel

@dtchepak I don't think we have plans for this right? Should we close this issue then?

@304NotModified https://github.com/dotnet/docfx that @alexandrnikitin suggested still looks like a good option. I would still like to simplify builds by not having to rely on ruby. 🤔
