For what it's worth, I had this happen again today with Mass Effect. It was stuck at 0% for several hours, but has since finished.

For those reporting all sound working, have you played through the entire opening? I lose a channel or two of sound starting with the dragon's silent roar which breaks scripts....

@Leopard1907 Yes. That fix has been mentioned several times, including by me. The issue, at least for Johan and me, is that the intro part of the game (dragon attack)...

for what its worth, I'm also on Arch and lack the file Kisak had mentioned. Instead I have `nvidia_icd.json`. Endless space works great for me.
