Like @Arcanfel mentioned on Sep 28, this really needs to be merged to master. I wish I had noticed this before I wasted time updating the current master to Swift 3 myself. I guess my time isn't entirely wasted through, as I can confirm that my independent implementation is nearly identical to this one by @kirviz
