Microsoft store version DICOM-export error
Describe the bug. What happened?
- Run Windows Store version Weasis
- Import DICOM Dir
- DICOM export to pacs dcm4chee
- Error [DicomSend-1] org.weasis.dicom.send.SendDicomView: StowRS error: java.io.IOException: Unable to establish loopback connection
Next try with msi installer version. No problem. In the logs there is only one difference in the sequence of activation of the Export ISO image and DICOM Send modules.

I could not reproduce the error on a freshly installed Windows 11 system; the DICOM export works without issues in this environment.
Please note the warning message on the download page: "The package management systems above can limit certain functionalities because they work in sandbox mode."
This limitation is probably due to how Windows Store apps are sandboxed for security. Specifically, loopback connections (e.g., to localhost) are restricted by default for apps installed via the Microsoft Store. See this Stack Overflow discussion for more details.
You may want to investigate if your use-case requires loopback network access and consider possible workarounds or recommend using the MSI version for full functionality.
I added it to the exceptions using CheckNetIsolation. The situation hasn't changed. I'll use MSI. Thanks.
A loopback connection is the computer connecting with itself, localhost or 127.0.0.1. It could be related to the system firewall, proxy or VPN.
