Manual series scroll sync
Is your feature request related to a problem? (optional)
No.
Description of the new feature/enhancement
In all multi-image cross sectional studies (CT, MRI and so on) when a prior study is loaded there is a need to compare two series (or more) from different studies. Currently Weasis only allows syncing series from the same study (same frame of reference UID). There is a real and frequent need to allow manually defining a reference point to allow series with different frame of reference UID to be viewed in sync. The user would align two series manually, and click a tool / button to sync them from that point onwards. The slice thickness in each synced series can be used to estimate the amount of scrolling that is reqired in order to keep the series in acceptable sync, while the user can manually correct the sync if it becomes misaligned. This feature is available in most commercial PACS systems. Thank you very much for you continuing work to keep Weasis up to date.
Proposed technical implementation details (optional)
As above.
Describe alternatives you've considered (optional)
Manually scrolling the series side by side - not so efficient.
Additional context (optional)

This feature is already on our todo list. We have created a specification that matches exactly with your proposed solution for manual series scroll synchronization between different studies. Stay tuned for future updates!
