Tomosynthesis images split into several series (one image per series)

Describe the bug. What happened?

We are using Weasis for the radiology board exam in Austria and it is really a great program. However, we have the problem that the tomosynthesis images are sometimes split into several series and I don't know how to fix this. I know we can combine the series again with a few clicks, but this is rather stressful for the board exam candidates. Can I change the dicom files to avoid this? Or somehow change the config file of weasis? or recompile weasis with custom config? of note, we are using about twenty workstations for the board exam so it should be something to apply easily to different machines ;) Please find an example dicom file here: https://cloud.schernthaner.eu/f/8a8dda5af9474bf3bd92/

Thanks for Weasis and thanks for your help with this issue, Ruediger

With the example I was able to identify the problem. The separation rules for multiframes are applied here. In this case, the Frame Acquisition Number field changes value for each frame, while it should be used to define a group of images.

I can't change the basic rule because otherwise it will change the grouping for other series. The question is rather why these values are set during acquisition.

Currently, it is possible to modify this behavior in the application's installed resources files. Otherwise, rebuild the distribution and, in the near future, transmit a different configuration from the ViewerHub.
