Error when including object with Point
Hello, I have an issue, when trying to get a Point from a table :
For more explanation, I have an objetc UserSetting with an object Address in it (that have a property in it Point) The error is throw when doing an include 'this._query.Include(userSetting => userSetting.Address)'
For info, this use to work before passing to .net8 (in .net7)

@workpioupiou I can't reproduce this - please see the code sample below. This is why I asked for a minimal, runnable code sample - that's always something you should include when submitting a bug report.
In any case, you can try to take the below as a template and tweak it to show it failing.

I can't reproduce it in a new .Net8 app. But reverting all packages and projects to .net7 works. Without any change in the code
Hi, This also occurs to me when upgrading everything to .net8 from .net6. In my case I have also one model with Point type. The strangest thing is that if I change its type to Geometry then it works.

My error message is

I also am unable to reproduce it with a brand-new project and minimal code.
I'm unfortunately not going to be able to do anything here without a minimal repro... I'm going to go ahead and close this for now, but am happy to reopen if someone can submit one!

I look into it today and I found that it's because of a property that has a list of points. Moving it into a new class PositionPoint with an id and a property point resolves the problem).

I don't know if it's linked to an evolution of Entity Framework or Npgsql. The other thing : I couldn't apply a new migration, I was forced to erase all migrations and my bdd.
