Does not work on ubuntu 22.04.1

Open gurgl opened this issue 2 years ago • 6 comments

Great idea for a plugin! I run default install of Ubuntu 22.04.1 with Gnome (default).

  1. Does not color the menu or the title bar but instead colorizes the toolbar. This can make the toolbar VERY hard to read. See attached image.
  2. Reset does not work. Id imagine this would lead to using intellij default color, but it doesnt.
  3. Bring up the conf dialog, change color. Click "Cancel" button. => does not cancel selection. image

yea i couldn't get it to paint the menu bar, but after painting the tool bar you still have a contrast with the font

Ok, if that is your ambition level. There were 2 other bugs too.

"Ambition" This is a little side project I've been working on with the little spare time I had, of which I have much less now.. Most people who work with intellij IDEs work on Mac or Windows so it didn't seem right to work harder on Linux.

If I'll have time I'll try to fix those bugs. If it's important to you, you can find them and open me a PR, this is a very small repo.

I'll try to fix those bugs, if I have some time 🙂

Just created a PR for this issue 🙂.

I've forked the project with the fixes from the PRs and some build updates.

I'm working on getting it into the Marketplace and installable ZIPs should be in Releases for a non-Marketplace install.
