This occurs if bower is not installed on the users system and should be mentioned in the installation file

I'm encountering the same issue. I then installed bower via npm but still getting errors at that point.

Are you working on windows? could you enter the exact error message here? Did you install bower globally like "npm install -g bower" or locally?

I am indeed working on windows and installed bower globally. Unfortunately, I didn't save the error msg and it was on the PC at work so I can't tell you right now :/
