If the connection is bad user may blame software like skype/etc and move to other software. If you add some simple indication like "antenna on cellphone screen corner" the users will understand what the reasons of bad video/audio quality is their or friend's network connection and not about tox. So users will find better network, stay on tox and spread it to friends.

Maybe it is required a support in the core. I don't know if it is implemented in core already. Connection quality statistics is required to properly select bitrate, right? If you confirm/agree with this feature I can create same case on toxcore.

I would suggest an indicator showing whether connection to a contact is direct or not. It would be extremely useful.
