A year after jailbreaking, my PW5 is stuck in a bootloop

Hi.

I used this jailbreak when it was first released, and it's worked fine for using Koreader. However, it's now stuck in a bootloop. I'm not sure why, or what I can do to revive it. I've kept the device in airplane mode, and I haven't tried to update the device to a different firmware.

There is not a lot of information online about this, but there are some reports of this happening to PW5 devices in particular. (https://www.mobileread.com/forums/showpost.php?p=4460911&postcount=992)

I'm just posting this as a warning for PW5 users, one day your device will reboot, and become bricked.

PW5s die for some reason, not only jailbroken ones, and they removed the serial port, so you can't unbrick it... kobos look like a better option now, internal frame (unlike pb/boox) + firmware on an sd card
