So I've been trying to jailbreak for about a year. stuck on step 13

no matter what I do I can't get the language selection. I get no log or jailbreak notification. trying to move on to the hotfix doesn't work. No matter how many times I reset the device and start from scratch I get the same issue. going into the menu and selecting chinese after the fact doesn't work.

I'm on 5.16.2.1.1 Paperwhite signature edition 11th gen

Try the one-click method. I tried the "normal" one for many hours and reboots: I never got the language selection screen (step 13 "At this point, a language selection screen appears. Select 简体中文 (Chinese), which should appear above an entry called Pseudot and below Japanese."). I tried with or without the cable connected, from a windows in place of my Mac, etc..

Then I tried the one-click method: it worked directly. I would have liked to see this method more prominently featured on github. I discovered it on the forum...

I jailbreaked my KOA2 (oasis 9th gen.)

Same for no language selection menu appearing i updated to the said version

Same. I have trouble with step 13 and it not going to the language screen. I looked at the instructions for the one click method and I realized I can't do it since I would need to login to an amazon account. It's an unregistered kindle 11th gen. I can't update it to 5.16 either so I'm stuck with 5.14.3. Anyone have any idea how to move forward with this?
