Alert Bar on Startup

When user dismisses Open/New warning box turn alert bar red and print message until user creates or opens a project.

Some users are dismissing warning box without taking action.

Plus this new idea: gray-out [our new stylish] buttons if no project exists. Nice visual cue that nothing can be done in the UI (aside from accessing menus to open/create/import a project)

Another thought, centre the alert bar so it is right in the middle of the app screen. I've noticed it often spawns in the upper left hand corner instead, visually making it less important.
