Possibility of do not close open notes

Hello, first of all, thank you for your job in this wonderful plugin.

I wish to request the ability to open a workspace without close open tabs, like add workspace on a set of tabs.

For example, i have a workspace for my tasks where i set a setup of tabs in a certain arrangemant, and i have moments of my work than i just want to bring that setup for consultation, but wen i active the workspace a lost all setup of tabs already open.

If you can add this function i will be gratifull.

I thought this was a bug, when I load a new workspace it closes my currently open notes and opens some old ones. Now I understand it's a 'feature'. I can't use workspaces like this. We need an option to keep the current tabs open when switching to a new workspace.

Doesn’t that defeat the whole purpose of the plugin? It’s designed to have different layouts with different files. On Oct 6, 2023 at 11:15 -0500, Drakemoor @.***>, wrote:

i think it's just a point of view question, i my use of workspaces i like to setup tabs for some subjects, for example i have a workspace for to manager my day, and in some moments i need to bring back that organization without stop or lost what i am doing in the moment

I don't see how it will defeat anything if it's an option. You can continue to use it the way you have used it until now and I can also benefit from the plugin.

It can be an option: when you're saving a new workspace, and the option is checked, it will save the workspace the way it is working at the moment. If unchecked, it won't save the currently opened files but instead, when loading, will grab the currently opened files and keep them open.

Simple as that. We can all be happy.
