Replace the main window activation tab : in line with the usage habits of ordinary people. Specify tab update content on the sidebar : it is more convenient for browsing notes with many links.

I don't know what you mean by "main window activation tab" or what replacing it would mean. Similarly, I have no idea what "specify tab update content on the sidebar" means.

To open in the "activity tab" as you put it, you can just click the link you're hovering, or drag it to the view header and drop it. To open in "tab1", just drag the link you're hovering to the sidebar.

Open in tab 1 of the sidebar, which means that the hover link will no longer pop up a window, but will only be activated and displayed in tab 1.

Then just drag the link to the tab where you want it to open. Or pin every tab except the one the links are in, then click on the link. I'm really not seeing what this has to do with hover editor since you can do these things without it.
