inline editor?

Hey I wonder if there are any thoughts on an option to make the hover editor not hover, but to just look like an inline editor for embedded sections. Or maybe simulate this through some clever positioning of the hover to be pinned to or follow the size/position of the underlying embedded block.

I would love to see this. It would probably scratch the itch, really, instead of having the Obsidian team come up with a totally native method..
