[Feature Request] Mouse Shortcut to close all Hover Editor Windows and open file in current active pane

I'd like to suggest a mouse shortcut like Alt + Click or Ctrl+Shift+Click to open a Link from within hover editor and subsequently closing all Hover Editor WIndows and open the Link in the current Active pane.

Would also be great as a "Open Link under Cursor..." type shortcut.

If the link is being displayed in preview mode, you can drag it to the pane header of the view you want it to open in. Any unpinned hover editors will close at that point. Is that anything like what you're looking for?

I really like using Hover Editor in Editing Mode, so i usually leave it at that. The hotkey "Dock active Hover Editor to workspace" already comes pretty close. If there could be a hotkey that opens in current pane instead of new one and also closes all over hover editor windows, that would work great.

Why is closing other hover windows relevant? Is it because you're cascading multiple hover editors? (I ask because I frequently have lots of hover editors open and something that closed them all would be very bad for my workflow.)

Note, too, that if you're cascading multiple hover editors to follow a series of links, you can just click on the links in the hover editor you have open rather than creating multiples.

Last, but not least, is docking not closing the other hover editors? What is your "Auto pin" setting currently set to?

(Also, if you turn on "Show view header by default", switching to preview is a single click, and then you can drag the link to the header of the pane you want the link in. If you have "Auto Focus" on, you can also use the hotkey to switch to preview mode, which I believe is Ctrl or Cmd E by default.)

Did any of those suggestions work for you?
