Rework storage of app data

Syncing between JSON files and the KV store is proving to be difficult and can be faulty at times, that's why, we are going to switch to using the JSON files directly.

• [ ] Remove KV store
• [ ] Create a simple CLI tool to generate app files
• [ ] Redo searching
