Bold text is shown as standard text without bold.
- OS Version: linux 5.19.2-zen1-1-zen
- Notable Version: v1.9.0-beta.10
Current behavior
It can be simulate in any markdown file. For example in the tutorial.
Expected behavior
The bold text is not bold, just standard. All next types of fonts work correctly, just bold is not process with beta.10 version.
I'm having this issue too, italics seem to work though. Italics and bold just renders as italics so it seems to be an issue with bold specifically.
After this patch it seems that my problem with bold texts are solved / fixed. Bold with italics works too. So, try to check patch 10-1. It seems that it works now...

I'm using aur. Maybe it is some middle patch for aur only. I don't check source of it. But it works now...
