Bug Report: Glitch window closing/opening transition
Which operating system are you trying to install? macOS "Big Sur" in KDE Neon
Describe the bug Hi! Thanks for your open source proyect! I need help with my installation of macOS "Big Sur" in KDE Neon. The installation was successfully with "setup.sh", and I could install Homebrew and audio driver. But when I close a window in the VM, it is "glitch" and takes time to close. Even changing from "Aladino" to Windows-like effect.
To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- Open "basic.sh"
- Start from my installation HD.
- Close a Window with yellow button.
- Takes time to close.
Expected behavior The window should have been closed smoothly.
Desktop (please complete the following information):
- OS: [KDE NEON (Ubuntu-based)]
- Version [20 LTS] (the lastest update from "Discover")
@victinifan360 this is a known issue as the vm does not come with a graphics card by default. You can turn off animations or pass through a gpu using the guides provided.
@notAperson535 And how do I do that "pass through"? May you pass me a link, please? Thanks!
@victinifan360 here you go: https://oneclick-macos-simple-kvm.notaperson535.is-a.dev/docs/guide-passthrough
@notAperson535 I could't use pass throught, so I decided to animations. But, when I tick the accesibility "Reduce motion" button", nothing happens. I still have animations.
Update: Also, I tried to this with "Invert colors" to test the buttons, but nothing happens.
@victinifan360 the solution is to sadly, do nothing and don't use the minimize button at all lol
XD
Do you know a sollution for this? I also updated my answer. Thanks!
Update 2: Now it seems to be working the "Reduce motion".
