There is no difference in selfhosted\cloud version, except the basic path to folder. It shouldn't cause any burden, except you want to switch from github to something else at cloud...
In common I use fork for a few months now. Flying good. I suggest to keep an eye on merging that option, or adding another way to work with selfhosted...
Is there a code of v1 version of plugin somewhere or an option to downgrade?

It's surely a bug that should be fixed in target app (only relative links should be used normally in web site). We were able to fix it by updating legacy...
It would be nice to have it onboard.
@rodrigoaguilera it seems that no overhead in that option. http2 is already enabled, and it's just part of protocol. That directive should just enable support of prioritization in http2
