when no permission, upd_cemu crashes

I get an error reading "failed to execute script upd_cemu" when I try to launch it I have tried removing and re-adding the program but it doesn't help

It will make a graphics pack of everything in a separate folder but not my cemu one

Hi thanks for reporting this issue!

The tool is supposed to generate a upd_cemu_crashlog file when it crashes. Can you attach it here please?

Also please tell more about your system. Do you have the files in a different location?

I don't get a crash log file I am on cemu 1.11.5 with upd_cemu.exe in C:\Program Files\cemu_1.11.5

It is a permission issue then. I suggest not using Program Files for cemu, download newest cemu again and unpack it somewhere else like your Desktop. If you want to use Program Files you will have to run upd_cemu.exe as administrator (and for cemu too) and that is not a very good idea.

Thank you for reporting this though. I will make the tool show a better error message when this is the case.
