lighttpd+mod_websocket in embedded linux

Hi,Guys I build the lighttpd with mod_websocket success in my embedded linux system ,but in my platform,there has no node.js and ruby environment.so ,how can i use this mod and which backend i can choose? if you have demo (best written by C language )or you know how to do,pelease help me ,thank you very much!!!
