Feature request - 1 Hour & all data views

Hi,

I've tried adding this myself but unfortunately it's beyond my pay grade at the moment...

I thought a 1 hour view for the graphs would be a handy one to have, I sometimes find 5 minutes to small and a day to coarse a view to look at details.

Also, I suppose like you, I have more than a years worth of data points, I think I must be getting on for 2 years worth here, an "all data" view of the graphs would be nice, to make use of all that you have available and get a big picture view... Failing that would it be possible to limit data loading to a years worth to reduce memory usage and speed loading? I know I could probably trim the data set manually but....

Love the revised page layout by the way, significantly better viewing on my phone..

It gathers data every second and averages 300 samples every 5 minutes and saves them to the file So it would only have 12 samples for the last hour and it shows all of those in the day view.

To make a decent hour graph it needs around 300 points, so that would be one every 12 seconds. It would need to be a separate array that isn't written to the file. Certainly possible but is it worth it?

Yes going back more than a year would be good but if the resolution is less than a day it would lack detail. Perhaps better would an ability to scroll backwards in all views, except the 5 minute one. I.e. it has the data, so it could show last month's at the same resolution as this month, or last year at the same resolution as this year.

Ref the hour graph, noted, I can see when you mean the graph would be very blocky, didn't appreciate the big difference in points, sounds like a lot of work as well, strike that one :)

Ooo hadn't thought about scrolling the graph, sounds like a better option than trying to cram it all in one, like you say it could get to the point where you would only see dramatic changes with a lot of data.

Like I said, this is way beyond my capabilities, your time and efforts are appreciated.
