Wont open chat mode?

did you press ctrl+c after the message of "sampling parameters: ..."? image It took a long while in my computer before to have the prompt ready for testing.

i didn't click anything just dropped file and opened exe

I have the same problem, but noticed a file access error in the windows event log. The bin file is on my c: drive, so its not network related.

Checked the MD5 hash but it was OK. Downloaded the bin file again, still have the problem. Ran as Admin, still have problem. Plenty of HDD space. Ran error check on drive. Rebooted PC. No sure what to do next.

Windows cannot access the file for one of the following reasons: there is a problem with the network connection, the disk that the file is stored on, or the storage drivers installed on this computer; or the disk is missing. Windows closed the program gpt4all-lora-quantized-win64.exe because of this error.

same file different pc, looks like the actual issue is that it needs AVX2 support?
