Quickly assign random keyboard key for Sound Trigger

I don't have a proper MIDI keyboard, but kind of interested in the function allowing keyboard key to trigger sound for Audio Nodes. Is this still possible?

You may be interested in virtual midi keyboards like VMPK. They generate midi signal and can be triggered with a normal keyboard or mouse.

I installed VMPK on Windows and got no response from Audio Nodes, this is my setup with VMPK's default configuration. Looking through settings, I don't see anything that would help. image

@ZackMercury Try removing and recreating the MIDI input node when VMPK is already started. It can currently only capture MIDI senders upon creation on Windows. If that doesn't help, check to see if something shows up in the terminal (Window -> Toggle System Console) and maybe open a new issue.
