Interesting. Though this is potentially applicable only to compatible models. For example, G1 FOUR uses 1U and 3S effects, unlike G5n/G3n. G1 FOUR obviously lacks the expression pedal like G1X...

@mungewell : Can you also dump the SysEx:[`0x60 0x11`] and SysEx:[`0x60 0x02`] for G5n, G3n, G3Xn, and B3n? These seem to return details about the flash filesystem.

Thanks! Real G1 FOUR shows this somewhat differently: ``` $ amidi -p hw:1,0,0 -S 'F0 52 00 6e 60 11 00 00 00 F7' -r temp.bin -t 2; hexdump -C...

There is a new section `NAME` which stores a "long name". You may want to extract that too.

I'd ask the user if the installed effect can be used on-device, that is not from the GL? The official editors filter the lists by model, which, well, makes sense....

How about the `MACH301U.ZD2`, it's another AMP from `G1 FOUR`?

Did you try to see if `MACH301U.ZD2` works ok on your `GCE-3` in `B1 FOUR` mode? P.S. the [aggregated effects list](../issues/58#issue-1580133203) also denotes if a given effect belongs to B/A...

I'm not sure what is being done here. Could you roughly explain the objective and the findings?
