I have to use Splide for this which supports pause on mouseover amongst other things perfectly. Its quite annoying having to use another script when I think Swiper should support this further than what is already possible, but hey, its open source after all.
Would you please share the required set of options that allowed you to achieve a continuous autoplay using Splide? I think it's worth making a switch, it looks great!
