Obsidian app not detected

Is there an existing issue for this?

Current Behavior

Obsidian (an Electron app run from its AppImage) is not shown.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Download https://github.com/obsidianmd/obsidian-releases/releases/download/v1.9.14/Obsidian-1.9.14.AppImage
  2. Create/edit apparmor profile if Obsidian fails to load
  3. Notice Obsidian is missing from Apps list

Hi, thanks for the issue. AppImages usually have trouble detecting because they usually don't have .desktop files, which Resources relies on to detect apps. You did make a .desktop file though, so it should be detected if everything lines up. Can you check in Processes, which app your running Obsidian instance is assigned to? Also, can you try the Flatpak version of Obsidian? And if you don't mind, could you send me your .desktop file for Obsidian?
