Reset control pin not working

Just trying the reset control method, i noticed the control pin on v0.4 board (pin 43) is just not working, i tried another spare pins analog and digital and it works fine, for now im using the reset control via pin A14 and its working perfect, but there is not way for make it work on pin 43 (default)

EDIT: for some reason now it keeps bootlooping until i release the reset pin from the control pin EDIT2: I just did the 16u2 method but with D28, default pin still dead
