Apostrophes intially show up as ' in some feeds

I'm using News+ with the Bazqux plugin and on some feeds apostrophes show up as ' in the feed titles and summaries in the article list when in Card view. Once in the actual article, the issue isn't present. If I change the view type (to grid or list) then the issue goes away.
