Installer?
You'll have to forgive me for a dumb question, but how do I install this? I'm guessing it has to be compiled first, because I'm not seeing a binary. Is there anywhere I can download a pre-compiled binary?
Nevermind, I managed to find a package with the installer via Google. It was on github, but I don't even know how I would have found it otherwise.

Back when this project was created Github had support for uploading files, that's since been removed - though as you said you can still find the install that was uploaded at the above URL (at least until Github completely removes support for old uploaded files).
Just keep in mind that this project was developed for the original release of Final Fantasy 14, I never tested it for the ARR re-release. The archive format definitely changed, and I'd assume the model format did as well at least somewhat. So unless you're trying to view models from the original FF14 release, this project is probably only useful if you wanted to use it as a basis for a new model viewer that did support FF14:ARR.
Yes, I'm using it with the original FF14 right now. I found this project through the Seventh Umbral Server project page. I do have some friends who are interested in possibly making an ARR viewer though, so I might present this as the basis, with your permission.

sorry mate, no clue. It's been ages (this model viewer was for the original FFXIV, not even A Realm Reborn) and I haven't kept up with any developments in the space.
