Cannot change language

Hello, i downloaded the latest version and for some reason i cannot change language from russian. The language menu does not even open. I run it on a Windows 7 VM on mac. Any idea? thanks!

Folder "lang" with *.po files have all languadges, and have to be in same derictory with asprogrammer.exe.
