email sign up form

Hello, I was wondering if the email signup form can be edited. I've tried adding a few sentences that make it sound a little more professional and cater to us and after I hit create form and to a test it doesn't save what I typed. I've done it a couple of times and it saved some of what I typed but not all of it.
