new post send out multiple emails

Hello, I have a wpress blog and use the wp-autoresponder. I installed the plugin over a year ago. When ever I created a new post, the plugin NEVER sent out an emails. I did try different settings., but could never get this to work for me. I had to create a new broadcast and send out my updates manually.

Yesterday, I ran all plugin updates, I assume wp-autoresponder updated to. This time I created a post and it DID send any email to the subscribed users about the new post.

BUT, I got an email from a user saying that they got 25 msgs from me. It only sent me 1 email about the post. Also, no one else is saying they received 25 msgs. Maybe they went to spam box?

How do I test and fix this?
