The library is unmaintained, I'm working on a fork made with typescript and it is working BUT it is missing some features. In case you want to check it out

it is this one . So far I have only add typescript to it and that broke some things (if I recalled correctly mainly attachment and file related things). I'm using it for a project and I haven't had problems but my emails are also super basic right now.
I would love if we can help each others out.
