Microsites Tracking
Tracking the Microsites was originally discussed here but we just discussed in today's meeting and stated that a new issue to fully track microsites was a good idea.
Here's a list of the current microsites, to the best of my knowledge:
https://foundation.nodejs.org ?
@bnb https://nodejs.org/calendar/ is a 404: Page could not be found for me. Was it moved maybe?
@MarkTiedemann oh no, I'm not sure 😢
cc @Trott @MylesBorins @fhemberger 😄
http://nodejs.org/calendar
no slash
http://unencrypted.nodejs.org ?
@richardlau I would consider that less of a microsite and more of a utility / point of access, but it's probably good to include a gateway to that on the new site regardless 🤔
@bnb what's the ask for these microsites. Are they expected to be updated with the new design?
Ideally we'd be able to provide the utilities to microsites to be able to build themselves within the website itself and help some of the existing ones migrate into the website using those utilities.
something like ci.nodejs.org will not be able to transfer, but something like nodejs.org/metrics could.
I'd ideally like to see them on a consistent path - i.e. nodejs.org/sites/<site> or nodejs.org/tools/<site> or something.
ok i think this is doable.
Under pages we could do something like sites/metrics and load a metrics.tsx page
This issue is stale because it has been open for 60 days with no activity.
This isseue was closed because it has been inactive for 14 days since being marked as stale.
Reopening this issue, as there was progress:
- Metrics page is live already but could have some UX adjustments (like padding): https://nodejs.dev/en/sites/metrics/
- The Calendar Pull Request is still open, and I'm going to rebase it soon (https://github.com/nodejs/nodejs.dev/pull/2428)
- Benchmark seems to be retired officially
The other pages, I don't think they need a page within nodejs.dev. Maybe they could get a landing-page but that would require design.

FYI most of the links on that page are broken. The page is also out of date -- see the note at the beginning of https://nodejs.org/metrics/.

Yup, I removed it from the list.

What this has to do with this issue?
Maybe it was meant for the code-and-learn page issue?
