Dates, location and expected number of participants?
Dates, location and expected number of participants?
sry i forgot to put it.
it's 2-3 Nov.
The dates are Nov. 2nd-3rd, 2019 and the venue is at East China Normal University in Shanghai. I mentioned this opportunity to Khaidi Chu was a goodwill to invite the node.js code-and learn community to reach out to more China developers who wishes to learn node.js. It doesn't mean we WANT to hold the workshop. This is supposed to be a community driven event, Isn't it?
Should you feel interested in holding the workshop, COSCon'19 will help provide venue, workshop hosting cloud platform, event promotion, etc. If there is a need to cover the travel expenses for a couple of mentors or teaching assistants, we can help find sponsor. As a non-profit all-volunteer open source community, we will try our best to cultivate the open source education and promotion with all other communities, including yours.
Best regards,

I won't be able to travel during that time. Moreover, I've been suggesting a hiatus for Node.js core Code + Learn events, for various reasons. But that doesn't mean that a motivated and knowledgable individual couldn't make a great Code + Learn event happen!

I think I can find some collaborator mentors to join this workshop. But we're lack of experience to hold one C+L workshop. Maybe we want some help of experience.
@oyyd hosted a great workshop at #94, he may give some useful experiences :)
