I am not sure why the issue was created and abandoned. Do you have a use case ?

Oh ok, no I didn't have a use case it was just listed under "Good First Issues" - I will check out the issue dashboard, thanks!

@jonah-saltzman The dashboard may not be really up to date for older and important issues. I went to the issues in NSS and found the followings that could be "first issues" (may be not the email one) :

  • functional issues
    • #1592
    • #1605
    • #1606
    • #1655
  • And I suppose a docker or .sh issue #1656
  • there is an other issue (I don't find the issue) to allow change of the registered email address in the authentication db

Happy to discuss these or help you find your way in the code.
