Node-red-node-email shows permanent "sending" status with green indicator

Node-red-node-email shows permanent "sending" status with green indicator after sending a message, even though the message arrives in my gmail inbox.

I would expect the status to be changed to "sent" and perhaps move from blue to green.

Hi, we are now up to Node-RED 1.0.2, Also we prefer node.js LTS versions - so 10 preferred though 12 should work. The latest email node is version 1.7.1. I think there have been several fixes in this area, so if you can upgrade it may help.

Ok. I suppose I am the first to have reported this problem?

I intend to upgrade, though I will do it gradually so as to ensure nothing breaks :)

Hi yes -AFAIK. Working for me (of course :-)... Yes take your time - I know DietPi isn't quite a standard install so go easy.

I am seeing the same thing, now. Module was working for several hours in testing, and then just stopped working. I get the endless sending status. Running on Pi with very latest Raspbian and latest node-red version, and of course latest module version 1.7.8.
