Feature request: shortcut to flip StyleColumnHighlight

Is it a request to hide the column cursor in column-mode? I thought this might be needed in column-rainbow mode.

Like most other requests I wrote about UI and UX, it's because of how I need ov to display things, if you just think about your use case you make it less attractive for other, be it not wanting a bringt status bas in the middle of the night or seeing the column or not, it's about how other use ov and that often requires flexibility to be able to add new requirements.
