Org-refile does not work properly for read-only transcluded copies
Ref: https://org-roam.discourse.group/t/prototype-transclusion-block-reference-with-emacs-org-mode/830/62
tested org-refile on a transcluded entry, to see how it would break, and yes it does:
- the entry stays (transcluded) in the file
- a copy is created in the refile target file
- this copy is read only
Added to README as limitation. Will keep it open for future reference. No intention to support refilling.
Does this refer to refiling the source entry or the clones?
The "clones". This issue is specific to Org-tranclusion's read-only transcluded copies (not live-sync clones).
I am guessing you are more interested in clones from Text-Clone. I don't really use Org refile, so this is an under-explored territory, to be honest.
My general recommendation is to remove transclusions (which also removes live-sync's Text-Clone overlays) before refile source entries.
