Mission Control keyboard shortcuts are deleted when corresponding action is assigned in Mac Mouse Fix [bug]

Open gjherbiet opened this issue 10 months ago • 5 comments

Description

When some actions are assigned in Mac Mouse Fix (whatever the button and type of click), the corresponding macOS shortcuts get unassigned (reset to "none") in "System Settings" -> "Keyboard" -> "Keyboard Shortcuts..." -> "Mission Control"

The concerned actions are :

  • Mission Control (Ctrl Up)
  • Application windows (Ctrl Down)
  • Move left a space (Ctrl Left)
  • Move right a space (Ctrl Right)

Steps to reproduce

  1. Assign any of the aforementioned actions to any mouse button and type of click in Mac Mouse Fix
  2. Open "System Settings" -> "Keyboard" -> "Keyboard Shortcuts..." -> "Mission Control"
  3. Click on the button with one of the assigned action
  4. Watch the keyboard shortcut being set to "none" in the System Settings window.

Context

Mac Mouse Fix Version: 3.0.2 macOS Version: 14.4 (23E214) Mouse Model: JTD wired vertical mouse (http://jtechdi1.nextmp.net/wp-content/uploads/woocommerce_uploads/product/jtd-72/JTD-72-Wired_Vertical_Mouse-User_Manual.pdf)

Additional Comments

For "Show Launchpad" (in the "Launchpad & Dock" section), it seems the keyboard shortcut is unset then immediately reset (with a brief flickering to the "none" value).
