Horizontal scroll ridiculously slow via USB, normal via bluetooth [bug]
Description
For some strange reason, my mouse appears to be recognised in two different ways by mac mouse fix. If it's connected via Bluetooth, horizontal scrolling works fine. But if it's connected with the USB adapter it came with, horizontal scroll becomes unusably slow.
I'd like to add, that the lowest polling rate of the mouse via USB is 125Hz, via bluetooth it's locked to below 100Hz I believe — I suspect the problem to be found anywhere in this area. (the lower polling rate is also noticeable in macOS by the cursor being a little jittery/jumpy compared to USB, which is why I suspect this to be the culprit. I noticed this with almost any Bluetooth mouse so far — it's easier to detect on an external screen if on a MacBook)
Steps to reproduce
- Connect mouse via Bluetooth
- Scroll horizontally
- take note of scroll speed
- Connect same mouse via USB
- Scroll horizontally
- take note of significantly slower scroll speed
Context
