A "default" option instead of e.g "middle click" for a mouse button [enhancement]

Open Neosaurus opened this issue 2 years ago • 3 comments

Description

as in the app is not touching the input from that specific button at all

Rationale

I use middle (https://middleclick.app/) and it seems to work a bit strangely when paired with this app (e.g inconsistent when middle clicking a tab to close, does not always close the tab with no apparent pattern of behaviour). This does not happen when I disable mac mouse fix and I need middle for when im using my trackpad (often). Love the software otherwise though! So much nicer for using gestures on my mx master than the logitech software allows. Great job :)

+1, I'm not using any other app, but the middle click works "slower" when using Mac Mouse Fix. Maybe it would be possible to make the middle mouse button skip Mouse Fix completely and just work as if mac mouse wasn't there?

Uncapture button 3 - highlight everything under button 3 and press the minus.

The crappy thing to this work around is its all or nothing. It sets all button 3 options to default but at least you can retain other MMF functionality on other buttons.

Hey guys thanks for the feedback! The "slowness" of the middle click should also go away if you only remove the 'Double Click' action but not the 'Drag' or 'Hold' or 'Click' actions.

If you have a double click actions set up, Mac Mouse Fix needs to wait to see if you're gonna double click before triggering the normal click action.

Hope that helps! Let me know if you have more questions.
