Middle click slight delay [bug]
Description
When middle clicking to close a tab in various browsers, there is a noticeable delay between when I middle click and when the tab closes.
Steps to reproduce
- Open a browser, such as Google Chrome, Brave, Edge
- Use middle click mouse button to close a tab
- The timing is slightly delayed
Context
Mac Mouse Fix Version: 2.2.0 macOS Version: 10.15.7 Mouse Model: Logitech M570 (trackball)
Additional Comments
I didn't think it was related to MacMouse fix, but I uninstalled it and then tried SteerMouse. I noticed right away that there is a difference between middle click delay. Tabs close instantly when I use middle click with SteerMouse.
The scrolling and everything else on MacMouse fix is preferable, so I wonder if this issue could be resolved or maybe there is a setting somewhere?

I'm also having this issue, it frequently results in me closing the wrong tab in Chrome.
same, I'm willing to bet its related to Mac Mouse Fix waiting to see if it's a double click. If so, I'd like an option to disable a double-click macro
You hit the nail on the head @BrianPugh!

I deleted the action of Double Click and the issue went away. The double-click functionality is not really critical for me so I ignore that for now.
embarrassingly, I did not realize you could remove the double click option (thanks @Mostafa-Armandi !).
For those that don't know, you can right click the element in the table, and then a "delete" option will pop up.

Thank you so much! I had no idea and this resolved the issue.
