macOS Sonoma Ad-Hoc

Hi, does anyone know how to run a Wifi from Sonoma? I can't find a solution how to open a Wifi. The only way seems to enable internet sharing, but that only opens one if I select an internet source network that is connected.

Unfortunately I don’t have Sonoma so I can’t test this, but supposedly you can run a few commands in the Terminal to construct an ad-hoc network: https://superuser.com/questions/1811625/create-network-option-missing-on-macos-sonoma-despite-legacy-networks-being-enab

these commands totally broke localhost for me even when internet sharing is disabled. is there a better workaround?

Maybe https://apple.stackexchange.com/questions/464557/how-to-create-computer-to-computer-network-on-macos-sonoma-2023? The instructions look similar but maybe there's some detail that's different? Unfortunately I am not able to test these myself.
